About Our Services

We can provide a number of different services, which are tailored to your particular requirements. For example:
  • Fitting service only
    In which you supply the bathroom materials for us to fit. We can provide you with impartial advice on suppliers we would recommend.
  • Supply and fit
    We can supply and install all bathroom materials.
We will fit your bathroom from start to finish, with the minimum of fuss and disruption. This may include:
  • Moving walls.
  • Building new rooms.
  • Altering doorways.
  • Fitting loft ceiling hatches.
  • PVC celilings.
  • Plastering walls.
  • Installing electrical appliances.

We will provide professional advice on the best design options, and the most suitable products for your bathroom. A bathroom installation will typically be completed within 5 and 10 working days depending on the size of room and the work involved.

  • Plumbing Materials
    • We only use copper pipework to supply water. We do not use push fit plastic pipe. All new pipework for waste water will be solvent welded plastic pipe (not push fit).

  • Electrical Appliances
    •  If we fit any electrical appliances or alter any electrics, you will be supplied with all of the necessary electrical safety certificates to comply with current regulations.

  • How much will it cost?
    •  We can visit your home to discuss and assess you particular requirements in more detail. We will then supply you with a free written estimate by post or email.

  • How and when do I pay?
    •  If we supply your bathroom materials, you will be required to pay a deposit to cover the cost. Payment will be required on delivery of the materials to your home on the first day of installation. Any remaining balance will be required in-full on the day of completion of your bathroom (no exemptions).

    M&M Oliver Bathrooms has spanned two generations as a family-run business within the North East. Initially started by their father who retired after 50 years service, the business is now being successfully run by Michael and Mark Oliver.



    MICHAEL OLIVER:

    In 1984 at the age of 16, Michael Oliver began a 4 year City and Guilds apprenticeship in plumbing at Newcastle College. During this apprenticeship, he worked for a large plumbing and heating company based in Durham, and gained experience in many types of domestic plumbing including bathrooms, kitchens and central heating.
    After 6 years working for this company, Michael became self-employed and has subsequently specialised in providing bathroom design advice and fitting for the past 20 years. He is supported by his brother Mark.

    MARK OLIVER:

    In 1981 at the age of 16, Mark Oliver followed in the footsteps of his father, Colin, to begin a 4 year apprenticeship in ceramic tiling. Mark subsequently worked for a large tiling company based in Newcastle, and spent 7 years applying his skills and learning his trade on a number of tiling projects including Bathrooms, Kitchens, Swimming Pools, Supermarkets and Shopping Centres.

    Mark's expertise includes many types of tiling material such as Ceramic Mosaic and Marble. In 1988 Mark became self employed and has continued working within the family business with his brother Michael for the past 20 years.
